You have about two years to get your oil changed in time for the next installment of the “Fast & Furious” franchise.
During a Universal panel at CinemaCon in Las Vegas, actor Vin Diesel was on hand to fans that “Fast & Furious 8” will be released on April 14, 2017. That will be almost exactly two years after “7” hit theaters to much fanfare: the box office-topping film arrived this month on the 3rd.
“I swear to you and my brother upstairs, we are going to make the best movie you have ever seen,” Diesel said, making reference to his late franchise co-star Paul Walker.
This latest iteration starred Diesel, Walker, Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Kurt Russell and Jason Statham.
