I am absolutely on vacation this week. But when something this magical happens, you absolutely just have to share it with the world. For me, that something is a “Star Wars: Return of the Jedi” / “Mad Max: Fury Road” trailer mash-up.
It was only yesterday I was joining the movement to rebrand “Slave Leia” as “Hutt Slayer Leia” because single-handedly choking out a Hutt crime lord is a feat that deserves a title. Of course, thinking about Leia literally using the chain of her patriarchal overlord to kill him got me thinking about “Mad Max: Fury Road.” So I popped off this wish to the Internet ether and thought that would be the end of it.
Annnnd now I want a #MadMaxFuryRoad / #StarWars mash-up with Leia as Furiosa and other Jabba slave girls as wives. Do it, Internet.
