If Oprah Winfrey”s OWN cable outlet doesn”t survive, it won”t be because its namesake isn”t doing her share.
After being largely hands off the first none-too-successful year of the channel”s life, Winfrey is doing everything she can to hoist the sales. Last night, she had the first interview with Whitney Houston”s family, following the superstar”s Feb. 11 death.

This coming Sunday, she has a two-hour special on Lady Gaga. She visits Gaga (and her mom) in her home and clearly asks the tough questions, including asking Gaga”s mom if she calls her by her given name, Stephani, or Gaga (if the answer is the latter, mom needs some therapy).
Watch the teaser below, during which LG also teases that she”s doing no more interviews after this one for a long time. “Oprah”s Next Chapter,” featuring Lady Gaga, airs Sunday, March 19 at 9 p.m. EDT.
