‘Captain America: Civil War’ And ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ Will Be All Over D23

When Marvel announced that the movie division was skipping San Diego Comic-Con this year, everyone pretty much assumed that Disney was saving the goodies for their own D23 fan expo, held every two years at Anaheim. Shockingly, those predictions have turned out to be correct! And, in fact, there’s even more coming than we thought.

The expo’s panel list has just been rolled out, and on Saturday, we’ve got this:

Disney, Marvel, and Lucasfilm movies are the order of the day in this panel. Hosted by Disney Studios Chairman Alan Horn, audiences will get a look at Alice Through the Looking Glass, The Jungle Book, Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and more.

It’s believed we’ll see the first footage from Captain America: Civil War, and likely also more footage from Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Equally intriguing is that “and more,” as there may be more from Rogue One, Doctor Strange, and The Adventures of Young Han Solo (no, I will not stop calling that movie by that title), if not footage then at least announcements or concept art. Really, we’ll take anything, as long as it comes with a side of Avengers fighting.
