In case you needed some visual accompaniment for the newest song you won’t be able to get out of your head, the video for Carly Rae Jepsen’s “I Really Like You” has arrived and it’s Hanks-tastic. A while ago, we told you about Jepsen calling in a favor for some celebrity cameos from Tom Hanks and Justin Bieber, but it turns out that Hanks is really the star of the whole thing, lip-syncing the whole song (including the “pregnant” line) while Jepsen is a supporting player. Bieber’s part ended up being a low-key, but fun cameo. (His goodwill tour is going to be a success if he keeps doing non-Bieber-centric stuff like this.)
If you can lip read, you can save yourself from listening to the all-consuming earworm of a song by muting the video and watching Hanks traipse through New York’s SoHo neighborhood…but you know you can’t help yourself.
