Will we ever know what really happened between Amber Rose and Wiz Khalifa before the two decided to get a divorce? Probably not, but that doesn’t mean we’ll stop trying, especially when the two keep giving us such juicy hints. The end of a marriage is a sad thing no matter what, but when it involves accusations of cheating, it’s even worse. Rose blamed Khalifa’s penchant for other women as the reason she filed for divorce from the rapper this past week but now reports are revealing a different side to the story.
According to TMZ, Khalifa left his soon-to-be ex-wife weeks before she filed for divorce for one simple reason: he just didn’t want to be married to her anymore. According to sources, their 14 month marriage had unofficially ended and the two were living separately. Rose paid an unannounced visit to Khalifa’s residence at 2 a.m. and found him with another woman, but according to the rapper, that doesn’t constitute cheating as Khalifa considered the marriage to already be over. Rose filed for divorce soon after and took to Twitter to defend herself — and call out her ex — amid allegations she had cheated with manager Nick Cannon:

For Rose’s part, the model gave no indication there was trouble in paradise when she tweeted out a happy birthday wish to her hubby and it’s a bit strange that Khalifa listed the couple’s separation date as Monday, Sept. 22nd if, as sources claim, they’d be living apart for weeks. Whatever the case, the two share a a young son and that’s what Rose is choosing to focus her energy on:
