It took nine, long years but Britney Spears has finally made her return to the VMAs stage with her sultry performance of “Make Me” with G-Eazy.
Britney, of course, has given the award show some of it’s most iconic highlights, including her infamous kisses with Madonna and Christina Aguilera in 2003, sashaying on stage with a python in 2001 for her performance of “I’m A Slave 4 U,” and many more. She has been so synonymous with the show itself that MTV gave her appearance a special video announcement a few weeks back.
For this performance, Britney brought some of her sensual Vegas show on stage while decked out in a yellow, sparkling outfit and bearing a ton of skin. G-Eazy hopped in to do his job and when he finished his “Make Me” verse, he and Brit launched into his hit “Me Myself & I” with a few remixed lyrics mentioning the collaboration. The duo embraced and wrapped things up by finishing “Make Me,” to a round of applause and Brittney’s return to the stage she’s owned so many times was complete.
