Watch Coldplay And Beyonce Get Doused In Colors For Their ‘Hymn For The Weekend’ Video

Anticipating a big week coming up, Coldplay just shared the new video for “Hymn for the Weekend,” their song featuring Beyonce taken from 2015’s A Head Full of Dreams. Filmed in Mumbai, India, the clip is filled with colors from all across the spectrum and matches the upbeat vibe of the song itself as frontman Chris Martin leads the way, and Queen Bey’s dreamy vocals add to the affair. Bollywood star Sonam Kapoor also makes a cameo appearance.

The video’s arrival comes just in time as the band prepares to perform for the Super Bowl 50 Halftime Show on Sunday, February 7 with Bey and Bruno Mars set to join them. The collab is hardly the first with the Carter-Knowles clan, as Chris Martin also joined up with Jay Z on Coldplay’s track “Lost+” and Chris Martin appeared on Jigga’s “Beach Chair” from Kingdom Come. The release also coincides with Coldplay’s recent announcement for their first U.S. shows of this year’s A Head Full of Dreams Tour.
