Fetty Wap just can’t stop putting out music. The “Trap Queen” rapper has kept up a relentless pace of releasing songs since being named to XXL’s Freshman Class. While the majority of these have been quick, SoundCloud drops, his latest comes complete with a music video.
“Zoo” finds the Patterson, New Jersey native chilling with New Orleans rapper Hollygrove Keem and Houston rapper Jay Jones in Keem’s namesake neighborhood, famously the home of Lil’ Wayne. Some of the city’s ATV riders, who take over intersections throughout the city most weekends, come out to join the party in front of Hollygrove landmarks. And Fetty continues to supply excellent hooks.
What do people from one of NOLA’s roughest neighborhoods and Fetty have in common? Perhaps they bonded over a mutual love of the number 17? Either way, it’s clear that the incredibly genuine and ascendant rapper is welcome wherever he goes.
