The rollout for Kanye West’s The Life Of Pablo is still something that critics and fans alike continue to wonder about. From changing the album name to updating songs such as “Famous” and “Wolves” after the LP was already released, West’s sporadic edits are a part of the living project’s allure.
And now, it looks like the rapper is beginning to make changes on another album of his: Yeezus. A fan noticed that the G.O.O.D. Music mastermind was making changes to his 2013 album on Apple Music, with standout track “Send It Up” now a little different than the original version.
The change comes at the 1:30 mark, where West raps:
“This the greatest sh*t in the club / Since ‘In Da Club’ / It’s so packed I might ride around / On my bodyguard back like Prince in the club.”
In the Apple version the instrumental has been removed at this point, with Yeezy rapping over nothing at all. Other noticeable changes have also been made to “Black Skinhead.” Fans on Twitter have stated that some of these edits might not be new, noting that some of the changes might be from earlier versions of the song when the album was originally released.

Still, it’s unknown why the rapper’s making the edits all of the sudden, especially considering that the edited songs only appear on Apple Music, and not Spotify or Tidal. Either way, this updating of history is certainly going to make waves among fans, for better or worse.
