Mac Miller’s latest album The Divine Feminine is set to be released in less than a month, and the rapper has just dropped the album’s second single with a little help from none other than CeeLo Green. The collab, entitled “We“, is super laid back in comparison to the album’s first upbeat single and Anderson .Paak collab “Dang!”
On “We,” Mac raps over a series of melodic “Ooohs” and “Aaahs.” “And you, always wondering what we’ll be/I say we sound better than you or me/Baby, you could be my oooh.” About halfway through the song, CeeLo adds his perfectly-timed vocals to the smooth track. “We are we/We are we/Forever,” CeeLo sings.
The Divine Feminine will drop on Sept. 16 on Warner Bros. Records. Along with .Paak and Green, the 10-song album, which Mac says he originally wanted to release as an EP, will feature collaborations with Ariana Grande, Ty Dolla $ign, Kendrick Lamar, Bilal and Njomza.
