@elliegoulding chill bae
— Martin Shkreli (e/acc) (@MartinShkreli) February 3, 2016
It’s a couple steps away from calling out Ghostface Killah and saying he’d smack him in the mouth, but it appears Martin Shkreli pays no heed to gender or genre when starting beef. His latest target? Dance-pop artist Ellie Goulding.
The new beef started when Goulding came to the defense of Ghostface Killah following Shkreli’s infamous “goon” video. She tweeted out that she would “hunt [Shkreli] down” if he didn’t stop going after Ghost. Shkreli responded several days later by dismissively tweeting “chill, bae.”
Ellie Goulding responded by tweeting that she’ll “take him out.”

And Shkreli went on to call Goulding a “one-hit wonder,” which is just inaccurate.
yeah listening to this garbage now @elliegoulding one hit wonder https://t.co/daAMhMPwzH

Related: How Martin Shkreli Went From Business Villain To Comic Book Supervillain
Shkreli has been back in the headlines in recent days after going toe-to-toe with Charlamagne Tha God on The Breakfast Club (and coming out mostly unscathed). Shkreli explained the price-gouging that made him a villain in the first place, his attempt to bail out Bobby Shmurda, his purchase of the Wu-Tang Clan’s $2 million album and (of course) his beef with Ghostface.
On that beef, he had this to say:
“I have a tremendous amount of respect for the whole clan including Ghost, but we’re talking musically. There’s a difference between music and real life and personas…It’s a man thing. You take shots at me, I’m gonna come back at you, especially publicly.”
No telling who the man will go after next, but he’s already stirring up nonsense with Charlamagne on Twitter.
