If you’ve been following the ascension of Tyler Marenyi — aka EDM superstar NGHTMRE — then you know a lot has changed for him in the last year. At the tail end of 2015, we highlighted the as-yet-unknown producer as part of our Uncharted video series.

Since we spotlighted him then, Marenyi has hit a number of milestones, including his first-ever EDC gig which exploded his career, and catapulted him to sell out a co-headlining show at the Hollywood Palladium with his mentors the DJ Duo Slander in an astonishing 14 minutes (!) Obviously, they added a second show, but guess what? That one sold out, too.
This week we followed up with the rising producer to track his success in the last nine months and see what his plans for the future are as he continues to rise within the industry:
Well, that’s all incredible, yes, but let’s back up a tiny bit.
Back in March, we paired up NGHTMRE with a fellow Uncharted artist, the emerging LA rapper A-F-R-O, to write and record a brand new joint single together. That song, “Stronger,” was recorded straight to a limited vinyl run with only 200 copies pressed. So, in celebration of the upward trajectory of Marenyi’s year, we’ve decided to give ten of them away.
