This year’s Lollapalooza kicks off on Thursday. However, let’s say you aren’t in Chicago, or that you are in Chicago but you don’t have the cash for tickets. Despite this, you’d like the chance to see acts such as the Red Hot Chili Peppers, LCD Soundsystem, and Future. Fortunately, we live in modern times, which means it is possible to stream performances from this year’s fest — even the under-the-radar ones — thanks to Red Bull.
Starting at 7 p.m. EST on July 28, Red Bull TV is providing a livestream that will allow you to check out some of the acts that are performing in Grant Park for the 25th anniversary of Lollapalooza. Performances from all four days of the festival will be included. It’s all the fun of a live performance from your favorite musicians without having to worry about sunburn and crazy crowds.
Now, not every act from Lollapalooza is included in the schedule. For example, though Radiohead and Lana Del Rey are a couple of the bigger acts at the festival this year, neither of them is currently listened as being part of Red Bull TV’s schedule. The Chili Peppers and LCD Soundsystem are listed though. There are three channels, so if you don’t like what’s on one of them, you can check out another. Regardless, you have plenty of opportunities to watch Lollapalooza from the comfort of your own home. Enjoy.
