Ukraine Police Bust A Euro 2016 Terror Plot And The Video Footage Is Insane

Since last November’s Paris terror attacks, European authorities are on high alert ahead of the Euro 2016 football tournament, which begins on Friday in eight cities. Police aren’t taking any chances after learning that the so-called eighth Paris suspect, Salah Abdeslam, and his associates were planning attacks on the month-long sporting event. Abdeslam was arrested in March and remains in custody, but ISIS and other extremist organizations continue to dream up horrors. With this knowledge in hand, France is said to have 90,000 soldiers and various security personnel ready for the event.

This brings us to the below video, which features a Frenchman loading up his vehicle while allegedly preparing to execute a plot. He was apprehended while trying to enter the European Union, but the Ukranian Secret Service (“SBU”) has been watching him for many months:

The SBU, said it had followed the man since December and allowed him to purchase five machine guns, two rocket-propelled grenade launchers, 275 pounds of TNT, 100 detonators and other weapons. He also bought 20 balaclavas before he was arrested at the Yahodyn border crossing between Ukraine and Poland last month, authorities said.

According to The Guardian, authorities were tipped off after this Frenchman railed about “the spread of Islam and globalization,” and this video shows him loading up his van with a staggering amount of weaponry and ammunition. The SBU reported that the man wished to commit infrastructure attacks during Euro 2016. France, which will remain on high alert throughout Euro 2016, maintains that it has no evidence of this man’s ties to terrorist groups, but this video certainly shows he was up to something.

The beginning of the footage starts out slow, but then the tackle happens and things get crazy.
