It’s crazy realizing eight days have already passed since the Clippers and Thunder squared off. In that game, Los Angeles winning 111-103 was the side note. The topic on everyone’s mind the next day was the pushing and shoving match between Serge Ibaka and Matt Barnes that resulted in both being ejected and Barnes levied with a hefty fine following a controversial tweet soon after returning to the locker room.
Chances are we won’t see a repeat of that, but the Clips and Thunder do square off tonight for the second of four times this season. On the pre-Thanksgiving spread, we’ve for Chris Paul’s all-time great double-double streak, the tease of DeAndre Jordan dunks and backhand high-fives, Blake Griffin doing Blake Griffin aerial theatrics, the always-looming possibility of Kevin Durant going for 40-8-6, the one-man fashion show/wrecking ball that is Russell Westbrook and Kendrick Perkins providing us with at least two “Shaqtin-A-Fool” nominees. And for our international family, there’s New Zealand’s own Steven Adams!
