Sex between two consenting adults is great! We encourage you to sex as much as your heart’s desire. Sex between two cats or two dogs, however is not great, because it leads to more puppies and kittens, when high-kill animal shelters across the country are already filled with unwanted pets. This is the subject of a new Pornhub Cares campaign, “Too Much Sex Can Be a Bad Thing,” partnering with PETA to raise awareness for the sterilization of pets. Because you never thought you’d see the day when a porn website and Bob Barker would have something in common!
With some help from adult film actress Riley Reid, Pornhub explains the goal of the campaign, which is really a no-brainer: spay and neuter your pets so they don’t procreate, and adopt animals from shelters instead of purchasing from pet stores and breeders. An animal lover herself, Reid tells the story of how she adopted her own 5-year-old dog Kilo.

So please, spay and neuter your animals, if by proxy we even slightly cut down on the number of strippers with mange. As part of the campaign, Pornhub will also be donating 1 cent for every 2,000 video views (approximately $30,000) to PETA’s mobile spay and neuter clinics.
