Rob Zombie Viciously Smacked Down Rock Fans Who Dissed Babymetal

Rob Zombie might spend his time making grinding industrial music and gory splatter films, but that doesn’t mean he can’t enjoy the occasional fusion of bubbly J-pop and metal. When elitist metalheads bashed a photo that Zombie took with the all-girl hard rock group BABYMETAL, Zombie shut them down with the quickness.

When one fan said that BABYMETAL’s music “makes him want to cry” and called the band “a shameful embarrassment” Zombie dropped into the comments to annihilate him.

“Hey, they are nice kids out on the road touring,” he said of the 18-and-under trio. “What are you doing besides being a grumpy old f*ck?”

To commenters who made the argument that the Japanese girl group weren’t metal enough, Zombie explained that their hard-charging and heavy bonafides are not to be questioned.

“These three girls had more energy than 90 percent of the bands we play with,” he said, adding that the band “rolls harder than you.”

Zombie just wants us to be nice to each other, to be a little more human (than human).

That metalhead whining is giving Zombie a chance to test his roasting skills, but it isn’t doing much of anything to stop the rapid rise of BABYMETAL. The group already have a certified Gold album and a performance on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert under their belts.
