Flash Is Back! Watch Dwyane Wade Quickly Split Defense For Soaring Two-Handed Slam

Is that a 33 year-old, creaky-kneed Dwyane Wade? Or the über-athletic superstar that led the Miami Heat to a 2006 title known as Flash?

Unfortunately for all of us, that’s just the former iteration of the three-time champion tapping into his younger self. Still, that Wade is even capable of breathtaking plays like this after so much knee trouble and additional wear and tear is a great sign for the Heat. If he, Chris Bosh, Goran Dragic, Luol Deng, and Hassan Whiteside enjoy any semblance of sustained health next season, Miami will be trouble.

And who knows? If Wade can be Flash on more than fleeting occasion for 2014-2015’s remainder, maybe the Heat can be competitive come playoff time – should they make it there, of course.

Miami is tied 17-17 with the Orlando Magic after an ugly first quarter.
