Watch Floyd Mayweather Casually Drain A Series Of Mid-Range Jumpers

We’re no fan of mid-range jumpers – they’re the most inefficient shot in basketball. But when a legendary athlete of another sport rains them with the ease of Floyd Mayweather, we excitedly hop off the analytics high horse.

Floyd shows pretty good form here, enough that we’re somewhat reminded of the stroke from the similarly diminutive Ty Lawson. Though we doubt Money has the handle or finishing ability of the embattled Denver Nuggets star, it’s fair to wonder if he might actually fare better on the other end – there’s certainly no doubting his quickness, strength, or toughness.

We obviously won’t see him in the NBA anytime soon, but it’s still heartening to know Mayweather is so comfortable on a basketball court. You’d be surprised how many elite athletes look like a fish on dry land when hitting the hardwood. Floyd, obviously, isn’t among them.
