What Do You Think Of The Cavaliers’ Three New Alternate Jerseys?

Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert trolled the Cleveland fan base earlier Wednesday with some fake alternate jersey concepts. Luckily for Cleveland fans everywhere, Gilbert was just making jokes and actual uniforms, which are pretty neat and definitely not plaid, were unveiled on Wednesday evening.

It should be pointed out that the Cavs are in fact going with a long-sleeved uniform, as previously depicted by SportsLogos.net. If you’re new to the DIME scene, you know that we – nor many popular NBA players – aren’t exactly fond of the long-sleeved alternate.

Be that as it may, Cleveland is rolling with it. However, the throwbacks are legit. The gold and maroon jerseys are a nice homage to the past and there’s just something about retro logos that works in these specific instances.

Cleveland has released a variety of alternate uniforms in recent years. While these new ones don’t go too far off the beaten path, they do a good job of mixing things up. If we’re being frank, Cleveland might have one of the most underappreciated uniform combos in the NBA.
