Tupac Or Biggie? And Everything Else We Learned From Kristaps Porzingis’ Twitter Q And A

Like most New York Knicks draft picks, 2015 first-round pick Kristaps Porzingis got booed when Adam Silver announced his name. Eventually, though, after the usual Knick fan disgruntlement subsided, they realized that KP is kind of cool.

He looked OK in summer league, he’s been known to rock cornrows, he’s got a comfy mattress to sleep on and he likes Biggie (though he’s partial to Chamillionaire, too).

This Saturday, Porzingis took questions for a few hours on Twitter either because he’s not Reddit proficient or because the Knicks like Twitter better. That’s not important, though, what matters is that KP got right into answering the hard-hitting questions. Stuff like, “Are you ever going to rock the braids again?” Unfortunately, his answer was this:

That’s too bad. The rookie also revealed that he likes Drake’s If You’re Reading This, It’s Too Late a ton. Like, only album on a desert island likes it.
