Carmelo Anthony Made This Kid’s Day With A Casual Fist Bump

Sitting courtside for an NBA game seems awesome, especially if you’re a kid and still idolize basketball players. They seem especially cool if one of the players you idolize stands close to you, and if they acknowledge you and dap you up, that is probably the best feeling in the entire world.

That happened during Tuesday night’s Knicks game at Madison Square Garden. Carmelo Anthony was sitting on the scorer’s table getting ready to check in and started chatting up a kid who was sitting nearby. Anthony gave the kid a fist bump, and you can see the child-like sense of wonder in the little dude’s face. It wasn’t a huge moment by any stretch of the imagination, but it was certainly one that the fan will never forget.
