Ah, yes. The trials and tribulations of being a camera operator during a basketball game. Sure, there’s the glory of getting the perfect shot. There’s also the risk of getting the perfect shot straight to the twig and berries, should you be in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Thankfully for this camera man in the Rockets-Jazz game Tuesday night, he was just far enough to the left to avoid James Harden’s giant foot going straight to the groin.
Perhaps the best part — besides, you know, avoiding being kicked in the crotch — was Harden’s face when realizing he came this close to nailing this guy. That picture deserves a spot at the Museum of Modern Art.
