This is some otherworldly concentration. Especially because Oklahoma City sideline reporter Lesley McCaslin couldn’t have known who exactly was screaming to high hell directly behind her. That’s McCaslin above attempting to report on the Thunder and Mavericks before Wednesday night’s game tipped off. And that’s Kevin Durant, doing his best to be heard in Tulsa. Lesley worked hard to keep it together with KD trying to videobomb her.

Durant’s primordial yell appeared to work, too. Despite Russell Westbrook’s ejection after getting choked by Charlie Villanueva, Durant poured in a game-high 29 points on just 14 shots (9-of-14 from the field, 4-of-8 from deep) to go with 10 boards and four dimes. The Thunder won easily, too, 108-89, despite the absence of their all-world point guard.
Still, Lesley McCaslin might be hearing Durant’s piercing yell in her sleep.
