LeBron James Finds Out Just How Popular Kobe Is While Attending The L.A. Rams Game

LeBron James might be the king of the NBA this year, but he got a lesson in humility when he decided to attend the L.A. Rams’ first home football game in over 20 years and heard “KOBE! KOBE! KOBE!” chants upon entering. With the NFL returning to Los Angeles for the first time since 1994, the game was a prime spot for celebrities like James to be seen, and he even got to stand on the sidelines for it like a local favorite. But there’s only one basketball star in Los Angeles, and he’s not even playing anymore.

When there’s a legendary player like Kobe in your backyard, who played for the Lakers for 20 years and won them five titles, it’s pretty easy to understand why Los Angelinos will never think anyone’s better. Even someone like LeBron James!

We can understand why he might want to go to a Rams game instead of, you know, a Cleveland Browns game. While the Rams didn’t exactly light it up in week one against the 49ers, they managed to turn things around and beat division favorite Seattle 9-3 on the back of a stingy defensive performance. Kind of like the performance LeBron James gave in the NBA Finals to bring his team back from 3-1 against the Golden State Warriors, who-wait a sec-could it be…
