Both Daniel Craig and Simon Pegg were rumored to have asked for small cameo roles in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, just for the love of the franchise and a desire to be involved in some small way. Pegg has since confirmed he has a cameo, saying he’s seen a large chunk of the film, and it’s great. We’ve heard little about Daniel Craig’s cameo, although he reportedly would have his face concealed, whoever he was. But we’ve heard nothing else until now, when Simon Pegg accidentally said more than he was probably supposed to.

Spoilers ahead.

The Washington Post (via the Playlist) reports:

Speaking to The Sun newspaper at the premiere of Man Up in London, [Simon Pegg] said: “I wasn’t a Stormtrooper. Daniel Craig, he was a Stormtrooper. […] I shouldn’t have said that.”

We’ll keep a look out for a Stormtrooper who’s far too broodingly sexy to be cannon fodder.
