This Woman Claims To Have The Most Tinder Matches In The Entire World

Everyone knows Tinder is a numbers game. You log on, check out a few profiles, and then zone into “auto swipe” space — in which you swipe every person who pops up to the right and then hope that some of them match you back and then go on a date (instead of ghosting, benching, or breadcrumbing you into a state of supreme depression). But how many matches could you really get in a short period of time? How many people can you swipe right on before your finger gets tired and you drift into a state of existential despair?

“Will I ever find love?” you wonder as you dip your entire hand into cold water to take away the physical ache. “Why isn’t anyone responding?”

That’s not a problem for Jazz Egger, a London woman who’s made her mark as an Instagram model. In fact, she’s got so many matches, apparently, that she’s dubbed herself the world record-holder for most Tinder matches. Guinness isn’t breaking down her door just yet — although that’s how we like to imagine the announcement of breaking a record occurring — the fine people from The Book of World Records pulling a Kool-Aid man when you least expect it — but you’ve got to admit, the 5,400 matches that Egger is claiming isn’t exactly small.

So why does Egger get so many likes? Here’s what she told The Daily Mail:

‘I travel a lot and people keep Super Liking me [every Tinder user has one Super Like to give away per day].’

Jazz says she used to think it was ‘normal’ to get so many Super Likes – also known as ‘blue matches’ – until a friend explained to her that the average female user gets just one or two per month.

She added: ‘I reached a point where I couldn’t answer everyone anymore, because I [had] swiped right on every Super Like.’

Jazz added a message to her profile saying: ‘Sorry this is getting out of hand. I can’t answer everyone anymore. I only reply if your message is super interesting. Hope you understand.’

You know what happened next, though, right? Just like in that one episode of South Park in which Cartman bought an amusement park and then loudly informed the shrieking masses that “you can’t come,” Egger’s popularity skyrocketed as soon as she posted her message, drowning her in even more messages than she got before. And with those messages came some fascinating propositions:

‘I would receive the craziest pick up lines and unbelievable offers,’ she said. ‘I even matched with Conor Maynard and other well known musicians, YouTubers, and actors.

‘Another crazy offer was when a guy invited me for a week in Greece on his yacht.

‘He offered to pay for everything, even my flight. Just so he could have a chance. Of course I declined that offer.’

Fact or fiction? While Egger’s not putting her matches on blast (although I would love to see someone having to count them all), she says that her position as one of Tinder’s top profiles has landed her more than just dates — she’s only been on 20 — including lucrative modeling offers that she may not have had otherwise.

If you’re the risk-taking type, you can try to find Egger on the app. Even with 5,400 matches she says that she hasn’t yet found love, telling The Daily Mail that she just hasn’t “fallen for anyone.” Tinder hasn’t yet verified whether she truly is the world’s most mooned-over date, but considering that Egger continues to be in the headlines, it’s probable that she’s not too far off. Good luck out there, Jazz!
