‘Justice League’ Set Photos Dredge Aquaman From The Briny Deep

Warner is going through shake-ups following Batman V Superman‘s lower-than-expected box office returns (it still made money, to be fair), and director Zack Snyder is hoping to right the ship with Justice League. To that end, Warner just announced Justice League 2 will be delayed to make Ben Affleck’s solo Batman film first.

Snyder is still working on the first Justice League, which recently wrapped filming in Iceland. Production moved to Iceland back in October, when Snyder posted the first look at Amber Heard as Mera. Now Snyder has also shared some pictures of Jason Momoa as Aquaman / Arthur Curry before Momoa heads off to Australia to start filming Aquaman with director James Wan.

Snyder originally shared the photos on the new social media app Vero, where he previously shared a mashup of Batman V Superman and Star Wars. As evidenced by the photos above, Momoa continues to live his best life:

There’s also one more admittedly uneventful photo from the film’s editing suite which we can’t embed; you can it see over at Comic Book Movie.

Justice League opens November 17th, 2017, followed by Aquaman on new release date October 5th, 2018.
