Foo Fighters Week on The Late Show got off to a raucous start last night, as Dave Grohl and the guys teamed up with Zac Brown — who appears on the band’s new album — to cover a Black Sabbath classic. Here’s their rendition of “War Pigs.”
The performance left David Letterman short on words, but he’ll have plenty of time to make up for it, as the Foo will be Fighting all week at the Ed Sullivan Theater as a lead-up to their HBO series, Sonic Highways, which debuts on Friday. (Watch an excellent five-minute preview here.)
