The Meek Mill-Drake beef rages on. And Funkmaster Flex is there to add fuel (and maybe a bomb sound) to the fire.

The New York DJ will interview Meek about his ongoing feud with the 6 God on Hot 97 on July 27 at 7 p.m. EST. Set your alarms and be sure to stream Hot 97 here.

The spat between Meek Mill and Drake began on July 21 when Meek accused Drake of using a ghostwriter on the Dreams Worth More Than Money track “R.I.C.O.”

Specifically, Meek pointed toward Atlanta rapper Quentin Miller as one of Drake’s ghostwriter. The Smoking Section got the scoop on Miller and found that he was clearly connected to Drake, but Miller has denied that he outright wrote rhymes for the If You’re Reading This, It’s Too Late rapper.

The beef spread throughout the Internet, with everyone from Vince Staples to Toronto politicians weighing in. Drake remained silent for several days, but finally responded with the song “Charged Up.”

Meek responded both on Twitter…

… and on stage at Nicki Minaj’s Pinkprint tour. Meek expanded on his thoughts during a tour stop in Brooklyn.

“You heard that sh*t? That sh*t was very soft. Baby-lotion soft. We ain’t gonna focus too much motherf*cking energy on that. But I’m gonna let you know, when it comes to this rap sh*t, Biggie and 2Pac had to die to be the motherf*cking greatest. If you’re gonna be the motherf*cking greatest of this sh*t, just make sure you’re doing your motherf*cking pen game and keeping it all the way a motherf*cking hundred. Cause it’s levels to this sh*t.”

Flex’s Instagram post hyping the interview seems to indicate that Meek has a track to counter “Charged Up.”
