It’s no secret that Courtney Love, who when we last checked in on her was melting down on-stage in an anti-Dave Grohl tirade, and her daughter with Kurt Cobain, the very lovely Frances Bean Cobain, don’t get along. Frances Bean may be young, but she’s apparently savvy enough to distance herself from that crazy den of maternal vipers for the sake of her own sanity.
And so it was that FBC took out a restraining order against her famously unbalanced mother a couple of years ago, the court documents for which included allegations by Frances Bean that Love murdered her pet cat — allegations that made their way into a new biography on Love, apparently.
The tome, which was written by author Maer Roshan, detailed court deposition documents from 2009 when Love’s daughter, Frances Bean Cobain, filed for a restraining order against her.
The now-19-year-old alleged that her pet cat and dog had both died due to Love’s reckless behaviour, but the singer responded: “It was a mountain lion that killed Peabody!!”
Isn’t it weird how things tend to die around Courtney Love? I suppose if the drugs didn’t get Kurt, a mountain lion would have eventually.
