My new life goal: to go to a dirty, sweaty, mosh pit-y rock show with David Letterman. As Consequence of Sound notes, dude sure likes his long-haired guitar rock, and last night, Letterman and Paul Shaffer went absolutely insane for Illinois-based the Orwells. They demanded an encore, they shouted, they rolled around on the floor.
Unfortunately, the Orwells couldn’t play another song; their guitarist broke a string. That still doesn’t take away from Letterman’s reaction, which is two parts genuine and one part mocking. Meanwhile, Jay Leno had Foreigner.
