Radiohead’s Glitchy Twitter Clip Teases Something Around The 20th Anniversary Of ‘OK Computer’

Radiohead continue to tease something around the upcoming anniversary of their landmark album OK Computer. Shortly after mysterious posters began popping up all over signaling that Thom Yorke and co. were up to something, the band posted a retro, glitched-out clip to their Twitter featuring lyrics from the 1997 release.

In the clip, a computerized voice recites the words to the album cut “Climbing Up The Walls” while someone types Radiohead into a command prompt. It’s merely the latest move in a mysterious campaign that has launched Radiohead fans — who are always game to decode things — into a subreddit-creating frenzy. Check it out up top.

Outside of Radiohead, other collaborators are hinting at something big coming. Artist Stanley Donwood — who frequently works with the band on their artwork — sent out this clear nod to the group on his Instagram.

The album’s actual anniversary is on May 21, so we should expect the teasers for whatever it is (An anniversary show? A reissue?) to pick up as the month goes along. Whatever happens, we hope to get a bonus track featuring the band actually taking on “Gasolina” because this Daddy Yankee mash-up video is too good to just be cast off into the meme dustbin.
