It’s official, Kendall Jenner has become the latest ambassador for Adidas. The model announced her addition to the athletic wear company’s team earlier today with an Instagram boomerang of herself decked out in a black track suit, rocking the classic Adidas Gazelle sneakers, while driving a golf cart in front of a wall that was painted with the Adidas logo and contained the caption, “Welcome to the Family.”
“A longtime fan of the brand, Kendall embodies the spirit of adidas Originals as a creative force shaping the world today by challenging the status quo in her very own way,” stated the company in a release. “A classic icon, Kendall is a true Original and we welcome her to our family.”
Of course, this new partnership with Adidas is a nearly perfect fit considering her brother-in-law Kanye West’s long-standing and immensely popular affiliation with company. His Yeezy branded sneakers sell out the instant they drop and command exorbitant prices on the secondary market, while his regular fashion shows have turned into can’t-miss-events.
Jenner actually may have teased the big announcement today a couple of weeks back when she shared a pic to Instagram of herself as a young girl decked out in Adidas gear, tagged with a caption that read, “Always been an OG.”
