Andre 3000, Kanye West and many others came out to “A Celebration Of Phife Dawg” in NYC last night. Andre 3000 spoke on the influence of “A Tribe Called Quest” and said there were plans for an upcoming album with the group. 3 stacks also spoke on the younger generation and older generation having to appreciate each other and not hating.
Kanye spoke on the influence of “A Tribe Called Quest.” He recalled playing their music as a kid and said they made it ok for him to be himself. He goes on to speak on Hip Hop needing to be honored.
