You knew the Celtics meant business last night when Brian Scalabrine was actually wearing warmups instead of his usual street clothes. He wasn't going to play, but you knew that HE knew he didn't want to be in a suit for the championship celebration. If that happened, he might be confused for a common civilian who didn't play and just cheered the Celtics on to victory, when in truth he's a member of the team who didn't play and just cheered the Celtics on to victory. You can see why the Boston fans identify with him so well.
Anyway, this video shows that Scalabrine seems aware of his legacy — or rather, complete lack of legacy — and tackles an insulting question from a European reporter with good humor. An even better response: tackling the European reporter.
