80s rockers-turned-guys who miss being 80s rockers Twister Sister played a benefit concert New York City on Friday night, and former New York Yankees centerfielder Bernie Williams joined them onstage, holding a guitar and looking like so much Hootie, for a rendition of their hit “We’re Not Gonna Take It.” I’m sure Bernie’s happy to be in front of a cheering crowd again, and at 3:38, the length of “We’re Not Gonna Take It” is the longest Williams has spent alongside old men in makeup since his 16-year stint with the New York Yankees.
Now all I can imagine is Mark Metcalf staring down a fat, 10-year old Joba Chamberlain, screaming “WHATTA YOU WANNA DO WITH YOURRR LIFFEEEE.”
