On November 26th, 1994, Plano East and John Tyler played in the semifinal of a Texas high school football game. Many people (myself included) believe the last three minutes of the game are the most unbelievable in sports history. You’ve likely seen the video before but here’s a brief recap.
-Plano East trailed 41-17 with 3:03 remaining in the game
-Plano East went 70 yards on the next drive to cut the lead to 41-23
-Three touchdowns and three onside recoveries later, Plano East led 44-41
-Tyler East returned the final kickoff for a game-winning touchdown
