Boxing, Invicta 12 And UFC 186: Combat Sports Live Discussion

Hey fight fans, it’s the end of the week, which means it is time to watch people punch each other in the face. There’s boxing and MMA on both Friday and Saturday night, so let’s see what’s going on!

FRIDAY

Premier Boxing Champions – Dirrell vs Jack

Anthony Dirrell takes on Badou Jack on Spike TV starting at 9:00 PM ET. Also on that card, Caleb Truax takes on knockout artist Daniel Jacobs, while Roberto Garcia faces James Stevenson.

Invicta FC 12

Also on Friday at 9:00 PM ET is Invicta FC 12, available on UFC’s Fight Pass. There are some solid fights on the card, like Ediane Gomes taking on Raquel Pa’aluhi, Roxanne Modafferi versus Vanessa Porto, and a strawweight title fight between Katja “Killer Bunny” Kankaanpaa and Livia Renata Souza.

SATURDAY

HBO Boxing: Klitschko vs Jennings

Reigning heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko brings his 21-fight winning streak against undefeated up and comer Bryant Jennings in a title clash. The fight will begin on HBO starting at 10:00 PM ET

UFC 186

Also on Saturay is UFC 186, live from Montreal. The fights kick off at 6:30 PM ET on Fight Pass with a solid strawweight bout between two top 10 fighters, Randa Markos and Aisling Daly. The prelims continue on to Fox Sports 1, starting at 8:00 PM ET. There’s another top fight here, as #5 Sarah Kaufman and #3 Alexis “Ally-Gator” Davis rematch with a potential title shot on the line.

The main card begins at 10:00 PM ET on pay per view. After some legal back-and-forth, the co-main event has been reset as a catchweight bout between Fabio “The Iron Hillbilly” Maldonado and the UFC return of Quinton “Rampage” Jackson. The main event is a flyweight title fight as Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson takes on Kyoji Horiguchi in what should be a great fight.

Join us for two nights of punches, kicks, slams and submissions as another weekend of combat sports plays out!
