Marshawn Lynch’s Agent Launched This Scathing Tweet At Russell Wilson, Then Deleted It

The Seattle Seahawks are not very good right now. In fact, at 4-5, they’re on the outside looking in for the playoffs. They look nothing like the team that was mere inches away from back-to-back Super Bowl victories just nine months ago. Part of it has to do with a suspect defense, one that’s disappeared late in games. The other might be an inconsistent offense, one that seems incapable of scoring in the fourth quarter.

At the head of these issues is Russell Wilson, the quarterback, the “leader” of the Seahawks. He’s having a ho-hum kind of season with 10 TDs and seven INTs, certainly nothing to write home about. At the other end is Marshawn Lynch, who, well, he’s averaging 3.8 yards a carry. That’s not good.

On Sunday during the first half of Seattle’s loss to Arizona, it was Lynch’s agent, Doug Hendrickson, tossing a grenade in the direction of Russell Wilson on Twitter.

You’ll be shocked to hear this, but Hendrickson deleted the tweet after it made the rounds in the football media. Because, you know, that’s a bad look. Ultimately, this is much ado about nothing, but does speak to possible problems off the field between Lynch and Wilson and gripes the running back has with his role in the offense.
