How Pooping His Pants In Front Of A Stadium Full Of People Helped A Running Back’s Career

You might remember the name Adam Lane, a running back for the University of Florida. And if you don’t remember the name you certainly remember that one time in the Birmingham Bowl when he accidentally pooped his pants. No, really. Jones ran off the field after scoring a touchdown and there was a brown streak on his pants. We had a very serious conversation about it here on UPROXX Sports. Nah, just kidding, we set it to “Somebody Farted.”

Anyway, Adam Lane told Richard Johnson of the Alligator that pooping his pants helped his career.

It was the best thing that could have happened. It got a lot of attention and just put me in a place where I was out there publicly and people knew who I was. I really didn’t get a lot of grief from it. A lot of people were really more focused on how well I did in the game than anything. I feel like it was that way because I embraced it. That’s actually the first time something like that has ever happened. … I embraced it. Even running off the field after it happened, I waved at the crowd after I ran off to go change. And I waved when I came back.”

If pooping your pants is cool, consider me Miles Davis.
