Remember the handsome gentleman pictured in the front row of the crowd, second to the right in this picture? You probably do if you have spent anytime on the internet this week, and if you haven’t asked “who the hell is this guy?” yet then you’re less observant than me during an episode of Two and A Half Men. Apparently Charlie Sheen, some fat kid, and some neurotic, generic looking white guy live in a house together somewhere.
Surprisingly enough, the guy standing behind Tiger Woods in the picture was actually standing behind Tiger at the time the picture was taken. Not surprisingly at all, he lives with his parents.
Last night, The Mail on Sunday tracked down Cigar Guy to a detached house in South London where he is living with his parents, a retired mechanic and a housewife.
We can reveal that Cigar Guy is golf fan Rupesh Shingadia, a 30-year-old investment analyst in the City – and a very reluctant star.
‘I am embarrassed and overwhelmed,’ he said in an exclusive interview. ‘Never in a million years could I have expected anything like this. It is truly surreal.’ –Mail Online
It really is surreal. I’ve been mooning the jumbotron at games for years, and have never even come close to the Kiss Cam. If I knew all I had to do was put a cigar in my mouth and grow a moustache, I probably would have given up quickly because I can’t grow a moustache. I’m also 14, and still think girls have cooties, in case you weren’t aware.
