Sports these days tend to be one soul-crushing piece of new information after the other. But sometimes, we get something good that makes us remember that not everything is a continuous stomach punch.

Chicago Blackhawks goaltender Corey Crawford stars in this video that’s part of the #WhatsYourGoal campaign, which opens the door for fans with special needs to meet and interact with their favorite players. Last year, Duncan Keith helped a young girl without the ability to walk or talk score a goal, and Patrick Sharp attended a game at United Center with a blind girl. It’s the type of stuff that can pierce the most cynical hearts.

Crawford’s video does more of the same. He assists Emilie, who babysits young Blackhawks fan Ben. It was her wish to allow Ben, who has trouble using his arms and legs, to meet his favorite Blackhawks players, but Crawford and the team went a little further.

Not only does Crawford aid in the caretaking of Ben for the day, but he plays a little hockey with him in the driveway. Teammates Andrew Shaw and Teuvo Teravainen make a surprise visit, and you could imagine Ben’s reaction.

Crawford also prepares a little macaroni and cheese and reads Ben a bedtime story.

There’s an above-average chance you will break down at some point during this video.
