Cris Cyborg Makes Her UFC Debut In Dominant Fashion By Thrashing Leslie Smith

Cris Cyborg made her UFC debut at UFC 198 on Saturday night. For some, they would like their moment under the big lights to last a while. Soak it in, you know? Not Cris Cyborg.

With a 66% accuracy, the Invicta featherweight champion dominated Leslie Smith by clocking her with multiple crisp punches, easily stunning the game opponent. We’ve seen Cyborg dominate everyone she’s ever come in contact with, so now to see her finally under 145 pounds and doing what she does best in the Octagon…it’s surreal.

Surprisingly, there was no call-out of Ronda Rousey. Cyborg was humble in her godly performance, but that’s what we usually expect of her, don’t we? Whether this will set up another catchweight fight, this time perhaps against former bantamweight champ Holly Holm — or perhaps even Miesha Tate — is yet to be seen. Those are the money fights for Cyborg, the UFC and everyone involved.

For now, we’ll probably see Cyborg go back to Invicta, but we shouldn’t. Cyborg belongs in the UFC, but the real challenge now is finding her opponents. Outside of the two ladies mentioned, who could possibly put up a fight against Cyborg? And more importantly, after seeing this, does Ronda want any?

Does anyone want any?
