We like to joke about how Twitter is a dumb website where nothing ever gets done and nothing matters. And for a large portion of the time, this is true. Twitter is a time suck. People get in dumb arguments. Things end up being way more important than they actually are.

But there are also connections being made. Likeminded people meet up – in real life, or just in long Twitter conversations – to laugh, to share opinions, and to goof off. It leads to some truly amazing moments. And in the case of @TomBroDude, amazing humanity came out of a tragedy.

We brought in some of Tom’s internet friends to discuss his life, and, well things went off the rails immediately. So we honored him faithfully. We also have a second podcast where we discuss the Miami Hurricanes.

Here were some of the topics:

  • Our favorite tweets from Tom
  • How humor is a mirror for real life
  • Trillballins saying “folks”
  • Trill having an extremely woke take about Coinstar
  • Toyotathon
  • There was a crow in the background that wanted to be heard
  • What’s the ceiling for Mark Richt at Miami
  • And more

Sports are great and so are friends, but sports are always better with friends.

Special thanks to the band Annabel for our intro and outro music. They’re really good. You should buy their music at their website or perhaps see them play a show some time.
