What’s Rob Gronkowski Trying To Say With This ‘Low Blow’ Comment About The Broncos?

New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski is the ultimate bro. This isn’t meant as an indictment on his character or anything. Actually, that might be the most factual description ever written about another human being. How else do you describe a guy who went to college for the pool parties? (Other than wise beyond his years, that is.)

Anyway, it should be no surprise then that Gronk made this joke when talking about the Denver Broncos and the AFC Championship Game on Sunday:

Responding to a fan’s tweet about the Broncos taking out Gronk’s knees, the Patriots tight end made what could easily be inferred as an oral sex joke. Is it for sure? We’re not at liberty to make that conclusion. (Yes, it is.)

Then again, the Broncos did hit Gronk in the knees during a late November game. The injury looked more serious than it ended up being, but it was a scary moment all the same — Gronk had to be carted off the field — and knee injuries are always cause to hold one’s breath.

But, knowing Gronk, this was an attempt at adolescent humor — which he’s excellent at, by the way. So, job well done. Or something like that.
