TruTV’s Twitter Account Trolled Potential Viewers During The NCAA Tournament’s First Game

Ever since 2011, the NCAA Tournament has kicked off with four play-in games from Dayton, Ohio. It’s a fun little way to begin March Madness, but there’s just one problem. As opposed to a channel that everyone frequently watches like CBS, TNT, or TBS, the “First Four” is aired on TruTV. Like a lot of people, I don’t watch this station until the Tournament starts. I know that I’m not the only one because a number of folks decided to express their frustration on Twitter over needing to find TruTV.

The person who runs the TruTV Twitter account saw all of these tweets and decided to be proactive. Bless their heart, because they decided to be wonderfully self-deprecating in their responses to people.

One of the network’s most popular shows, Impractical Jokers (which is a show about four loud adults acting like teenagers that some people find funny), decided to get in on the fun. The only difference is their account got kind of mean, which led to the actual TruTV account getting kinda mean.

Hey, everyone, let’s just all have a good time online, stop being mean to each other on Twitter, put on TruTV, and watch college basketball.
