Reminder: ‘Glee’ Sucks

Glee (Fox) — On last week’s episode, the choir kids all wore t-shirts with their flaws written on them so that they could own the traits that other people made fun of. It made sense up until the point when the kid in the wheelchair revealed his flaw to be FOUR EYES, while the fat girls got NO WEAVE! and BAD ATTITUDE. It was astoundingly moronic and tone-deaf. “Hey, did you see that dork with glasses and the girl with the bad attitude?” “Uh, you mean the cripple and that fat cow?” (Tonight: Kristin Chenoweth guest stars, and Lea Michele sings “Go Your Own Way” in a Fleetwood Mac-themed episode.)

The Biggest Loser (NBC) — Tim Gunn stops by to help the five remaining fatties get makeovers. I’m all about Tim Gunn appearing on every TV show. He constantly looks like he’s barely putting up with all the ugly and stupid people in the world, and I can really identify with that.

The Good Wife (CBS) — Martha Plimpton of “Raising Hope” reprises her role as Patti Nyholm. I’m happy to see Plimpton doing so well — it’s always nice to see a child star not turn to a life of cocaine, DJing, and murdering underage Thai prostitutes like Danny Masterson. (LEGAL DISCLAIMER: Danny Masterson may not have killed any prostitutes of any kind.)

The Voice (NBC) — I caught a rerun of the premiere on a cable channel this weekend. It was completely watchable, and I didn’t hate it at all. Adam Levine has ALMOST enough charm to make me overlook that he’s a pretty boy douche with a wallet chain.

Dancing with the Stars (ABC) — Nicki Minaj and James Blunt are scheduled to perform. Also, I’d like to point out Kirstie Alley is one of the final six contestants. If chunky Midwestern housewives vote Kendra off before Alley, I will go to the nearest maternity ward and start punching babies.

LATE NIGHT GUESTS: Rex Ryan goes on Colbert after a disappointing Letterman appearance last night. Penelope Cruz on Leno. Not a whole lot that strikes my fancy. Full listings at TV Squad.
