What’s On Tonight: If You Have To Ask, You’re In the Wrong Place, Buddy

Justified (FX, 10 p.m.) — Will tonight’s season finale, like the finales many of our other favorite dramas, be a let down compared to the episodes that preceded them? It’s going to take a LOT to top the last two episodes of Justified. Tune in tonight and find out, and check back tomorrow for Danger’s discussion post. Here’s a GIF refresher headed into the episode.

The New Normal (NBC, 9 p.m.) — The Ryan Murphy show, which has burned through EVERY SINGLE conceivable development during one’s pregnancy this season, will end both the season and likely the series with two episodes tonight. DON’T MISS THEM, unless you literally have anything else to do.

Golden Boy (CBS, 10 p.m.) — Over on The TV Guide, the “Editor’s Pick” for the must see episode of tonight is not Justified, it’s Golden Boy. Think about that the next time you find yourself listening to the opinion of TV Guide.

Cougar Town (TBS, 10 p.m.) — Tonight’s episode pays homage to The Breakfast Club, and now I’m wondering how in four seasons Cougar Town hasn’t already paid homage to The Breakfast Club? The symmetry of characters is too perfect.

Splash (ABC, 8 p.m.) — Splash is also a TV Guide editor’s pick. Who is this editor? CANNONBALL.

The Mindy Project (Fox, 9:30 p.m.) — There is no new New Girl tonight, but on The Mindy Project, Mindy dates a Christian minister, which opens up so many narrative possibilities, all of which Mindy will probably ignore in favor of a Bridget Jones gag.

LATE NIGHT LISTINGS: Regis is on Letterman, which is usually fun; Leno has Blake Shelton, who I very much doubt will be clucking The Lumineers on The Tonight Show; Kimmel has Bill Maher; Tracy Morgan is on Fallon; and Paul Rudd is on Conan from Atlanta.
